A maelstrom, the chaos, a vortex, a turmoil. These are appropriate words to describe the hard work of the prolific French producer.
With a cryptic history incorporating nearly two decades of aliases and side projects born out of free parties in warehouses, fields and basements, it is under this moniker that the artist has truly come into his own. He has collaborated with Brodinski (on The Sour Patch Kid, The Matrix, Brain Disorder, Split) and with US rappers : 21 Savage, Lil Reek, Hoodrich Pablo Juan...
With Louisahhh, they form the gritty yet graceful techno- punk duo Maelstrom & Louisahhh, with a decade of collaboration before them, co-founding their label RAAR (dedicated to unique, challenging and beautiful cross-disciplinary creative adventures) and touring the world. Together they are part of a new band formed with Birds in Row, called PAIN MAGAZINE.
His latest two solo albums are : FM Tapes (2024) and Rhizome (2021).
